Congratulations to our B Division Basketball teams on their stellar results at the NSG North Zone Championship 2025. Follow their journey as they head to the national rounds.
We are proud to announce that our B Division Basketball Boys and Girls teams delivered outstanding performances at the North Zone Basketball Championship! Both teams made it to the finals on Monday, 10 March 2025, at the Singapore Basketball Centre, showcasing their talent, resilience, and determination.
Boys' Team – A Gritty Comeback for 3rd Place
Our boys faced Yishun Town Secondary School (YTSS) once again in a thrilling battle for 3rd place. Having narrowly lost to YTSS in the quarter-finals (53-57 in overtime), they were eager for redemption. This time, the teams were evenly matched, ending regulation time in a draw. In a nail-biting overtime period, our boys fought hard and emerged victorious with an 86-82 win!
Girls' Team – North Zone Champions
Our girls took on YTSS in the championship final and faced a tough start, trailing by double digits in the first quarter. Undeterred, they displayed incredible perseverance, tightening their defense and steadily closing the gap. Spurred on by our enthusiastic supporters, they surged ahead to secure a dominant 63-49 victory, claiming the North Zone Championship title!
A Huge Congratulations to our boys for clinching 3rd place and our girls for being crowned champions! With these achievements, both teams have earned their spots in the national rounds, which will begin in Week 2.
A special thank you to our dedicated supporters from Class 4E3, 4N2, 4N3, and 4T1, whose unwavering cheers lifted our teams throughout the matches!
